Well we sure have no trouble finding acts of LOVE around here.  The only problem we have in this house is SICKNESS!!!!  We can NOT seem to escape!!!!  AAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!  Taylor, Conor and Bellie are all sick.  Conor & Tay with fevers, sore throats and upset stomachs going on 3 days (that is why they are not in any of the pictures).  Bellie started with a fever yesterday, nasty runny nose and a cough.   PLEASE PRAY it doesn't go to her little lungs again!!!  Poor KIDS!!!!  Bellie is still on an antibiotic so this is just CRAZY!!!  Her eye procedure was cancelled for Monday so that is good!!!  So we just need to get the GERMS out of this house!!!!!  We booked a vacation - we are renting a house in April on the beach of Top Sail Island in North Carolina.  Oh my - I can NOT wait to have everyone Healthy and on the BEACH!!!! YAY!!! 

Thanks for all the WONDERFUL comments about me being a stay at home MOM!!!  I LOVED every comment!!!  I can't tell you how Awesome it is to have such Amazing support.  Blogging this journey has been the biggest BLESSING!!!!  I am just so GRATEFUL!!!!  THANK YOU!!!!!  And to Stephanie's husband - I can NOT tell you how it warms my heart that you LOVE our little girl!!!!  Thanks so much for being a Bellie Fan!!!!!  We sure are BLESSED!!!!!!!  Thank You GOD!!!!!!!

Stay at Home Mom!!!

I have been BLESSED with the best job ever.  I am an office manager for a Pediatric Practice and I LOVE my job.  Today I gave notice to my co-workers that my last day would be March 31, 2011.  This decision was not EASY at all.  Again, I LOVE my job!!!  But Dave and I decided that it is time for me to be home with our children.  It just makes sense!!!  All the sense in the world!!  I have worked since I was 16 years old - never with out a job - this is going to be so weird.  I absolutely know I am doing the right thing and I am so excited to be able to be with these guys every day all day.  And to be home when the big 3 get home from school each day will be Awesome!!!  

Wow - I am going to be a stay at home MOM!!!!!  YAY!!!!!

Updates

Belle was evaluated last week by a psychiatrist, occupational therapist, speech therapist and physical therapist. Developmentally they have assessed her at age 7 months. Of course as her very proud mother this does hurt. I know she is delayed but to hear it and read it in a report – well it’s just yucky!!! She is so smart and it kills me that 2 years and 11 months were stolen from her. But then I remind myself that this is how we found her. If circumstances were any different – she might not be with us. I HATE that she paid such an awful price but I am so grateful too – I hope you understand what I am trying to say???? Okay, back to the evaluation. Belle was invited to take part in a classroom setting Monday thru Friday from 9am to 2pm. This class has 6 typical children and 6 delayed children age 3 and 4. She would also receive all her therapies while in this setting. So then I went to see the classroom. UH OH – NOT FEELING IT AT ALL!!!! The children in the classroom seem HUGE to me and they are all running around, playing blocks, etc…. My sweet little Bellie who is 19 lbs and is just content to be held and snuggled would be in this room for 5 hours a day?????



So what do we do???? We can’t baby her forever – I do know this. But she missed out on so much and I know I can’t give those 2 years 11 months back to her but I can try and make up for some of it, can’t I? Or do I take this amazing opportunity to get her the help she so very much deserves?


AAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! I just want what is BEST for her – that’s all!!! So tell me what you think please because I am struggling with this one for sure!!!

Belle has not gained any weight since being home and she eats constantly but being on all the meds for h-pylori gave her lots of diarrhea. She is schedule for another weight check in 2 weeks – so we are going to try even harder to beef this girl up.  Any suggestions?????  (Lactose Free ideas please)


H-Pylori is GONE – tested negative February 16th – YAY!!!!


Diaper Rash GONE – Super YAY!!!!


Eye procedure scheduled for Monday, February 28th (Prayers Please and Thank YOU!!!)


Second Pediatric Dental opinion scheduled for Wednesday, March 2nd

Happy Birthday Bellie!!!!!

We are so BLESSED to celebrate such a wonderful day.  Three years ago today our daughter was born!!!!!  I couldn't help but think of her birth parents all day.  Did they think about this beautiful girl today?  Do they regret the decision they made?  Do they have any idea what they are missing?  Can they even begin to imagine the incredible little girl she is?  Do they know that she is LOVED beyond the end of time?  Do they know how BLESSED we are to have her?  So many things went through my head today - SO MANY!!!!  And out of all that busy brain time - I just can't believe we were chosen!  We are the LUCKY ones!!!!!

Making Up For 1 Night With Out Bellie

Every time I turned around a new Family member was loving up this girl.  She was very missed while in the hospital!!!

So Much Better and Out of The HOSPITAL!!!!

My Goodness this girl is so tough - I can't even believe it really!!!  She Amazes me all of the time!!!  Did I mention how much we LOVE this princess?????  Oh my - Do we!!!!!!

Bellie (I just love in the comments how you all refer to her as "bellie" - it's the BEST) was discharged this afternoon.  She does have pneumonia but I tell you she is doing so well.  We had kind of a rough night with fevers and breathing but this morning - Hello BABY GIRL - She was BACK!!!  I am just in AWE with this child - she is just the sweetest strongest littlest ANGEL I have ever known!!!!  And I get to be her MOM - Oh My - Oh yes, am I ever GRATEFUL!!!!!!  And so grateful she is doing so well today - Thank you for all the prayers - Thank you GOD for answering!!!   WOW!!!!

Last night she was too cute - see normally she is all layered up to keep warm but because of her fever she only had her onesie on and she was looking down it like "oh, I didn't know that's what I look like down there" - I was just laughing and laughing - so stinking sweet!!!!!

 Home - YAY!!!  She just had her bath and was feeling so very fresh & clean!!!!

I honestly don't know what we did to deserve this beautiful baby!!!!!  But My am I so forever GRATEFUL!!!!!!! 

Bellie is so Tough!!!!

Our sweet little Princess was admitted to the Hospital today.  YUCK!!!!  She wasn't feeling very well yesterday and had a temp of 102.  Well today she seemed a little better until she woke up from her nap just not breathing right.  Dave brought her to my work (I am so lucky to work for wonderful Pediatricians) and her temp was 104 and her O2 was 87 after a breathing treatment.  So she needed to be admitted for some Oxygen.  She is doing so well - she is such a trooper - she just sits in that O2 tent with no trouble at all.  This is the toughest girl!!!!  I am just AMAZED!!!!!!  They haven't checked her oxygen yet since being in the tent - so praying it went way up!!  Honestly, she is still fighting a little to breath - I hate it!!!!  All the tests (flu, rsv) so far have came back negative and her chest xray showed a little pneumonia so I guess we will just wait and see and PRAY!!!!!!

I wish I had better news regarding our sweet little Lyla but that is not the case.  I had sent Andrea an e/m asking if we could start the process of her adoption.  Andrea responded that Lyla was in "grave condition" and the director will not let her be adopted because she can not leave the hospital.  This little princess has held on so long - it is Miraculous really!!!  We are not giving up - No Way!!!!  She obviously hasn't given up so neither will we.  Christina her prayer warrior has not given up either!!!   We will continue to PRAY and STORM HEAVEN for our little girl.  I will continue to look forward to the day that we can meet her, hold her, kiss her and introduce ourselves as her Mommy and Daddy!!!! 

If you would please keep Lyla in your prayers.  Please ask that she be pain free and not be scared.  Please ask that she not suffer.  Please ask that she be covered in His LOVE all day and all night.  Please ask that HE will tell her how LOVED she is by so many!!!!!  Thank you so much!!!!
