This was taken at 7 am this morning prior to leaving for daycare
I have been BLESSED with the best job ever. I am an office manager for a Pediatric Practice and I LOVE my job. Today I gave notice to my co-workers that my last day would be March 31, 2011. This decision was not EASY at all. Again, I LOVE my job!!! But Dave and I decided that it is time for me to be home with our children. It just makes sense!!! All the sense in the world!! I have worked since I was 16 years old - never with out a job - this is going to be so weird. I absolutely know I am doing the right thing and I am so excited to be able to be with these guys every day all day. And to be home when the big 3 get home from school each day will be Awesome!!!
Wow - I am going to be a stay at home MOM!!!!! YAY!!!!!
Congratulations!

Have to say I'm kinda jealous :) Good for you mama!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Summer!!! I'll check back with ya in a couple of months and see how you're feeling... hehehe Just teasin!! So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteWelcome tot he SAHM ranks! I know it's not for everyone, but I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteWow!! Getting them all dressed like that by 7am would be enough to make me quit my job :) I was wondering about your work because I was fairly certain that you did work and wondered what you did with the littles. I am sure you will love being home with them. I stopped working about 7 years ago and I was the same as you. Had never NOT worked since I turned 16. But I have to say that I LOVE being home. So much less stress. Congrats and I hope it works out just the way you want!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! and Welcome to the club!
ReplyDeleteIt's the hardest, funnest, most awesome, lowest paying job in the world. The dress code is easy and the benefits are the best. There are days you'll want to bang your head against a wall and days you'll dance with joy. You're gonna love it!
Congratulations, Summer! I'm so excited for you! I don't think you'll ever regret this decision. There may be days when you want to go back to work LOL, but you won't regret it. How fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteSummer~
ReplyDeleteThat is the best news! I wanted to write to your previous post saying that I thought you should just stay at home with Bellie and forget all that preschool non-sense but I didn't want you to feel bad so I just didn't say anything. Bellie just NEEDS her Mama so much! After three years of nothing she has a lot of catching up to do. She needs her Mama to slobber kisses on her many, many times a day...let's be honest, only Mama's do it right :)
WOO HOO!!!!!!!! You're gonna love it! The pay stinks though. But the perks are priceless!
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome! God works in mysterious ways! I am so happy for you! I am thankful that my mother in law is able to take care of my daughter! Have fun enjoying your babies even more!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to enjoy it so much, well most of the time.
Good for you! I think it is great when Mom's are able to stay home with the kids! Your children are blessed that you are able to do it.
ReplyDeleteFrom another Stay At Home Momma, I love it!! I think I love it so much because I understand that not everybody is in our position where it is possible to give your cuties loves ALL day and I know that I am incredibly fortunate. I am so happy for those 3 little cuties that you will be home, more relaxed, and hopefully it will help your entire household having you home :)
ReplyDeleteThats such wonderful news Summer!!!! Enjoy every precious moment and the not so precious ones as well!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the SAHM club. I joined a few years ago after working outside the home for most of my adult life. I can honestly say that I now have the most difficult, challenging job in the world and I love it. I'm sure you will too!
