So Blessed to Be a Stay at Home Mom

 I can attend a picnic any day, any time with my favorite trio!!!

and not EVER have to worry about the time

 I get to see this beautiful smile after giving one simple push on a swing

 I get to spend time with two of my favorite people - Mikael and his Mommy Molly!!!!!

 I am reminded how BLESSED these two are to have each other

 I was able to witness my sweet Bellie LOVE a swing for the FIRST TIME!!!!!

 I am reminded how wonderful it is to have a SISTER!!!!!

 I know NOW how SPECIAL every MOMENT IS!!!!!!!!!

And I am able to capture smiles like this!!!

Not from asking Mikael to say "cheese" or "smile"

just catching the pure JOY of a Beautiful boy having FUN!!!!!!

Yes, I am so super GRATEFUL for the BLESSING to be able to stay Home With My Children!!!!

I was MISSING so much when I was working out of the home.

So now, I just absolutely soak up every MOMENT!!!!

1 yr Adoption Anniversary

Our Family Adopted Sara Grace (SG) August 30, 2010

This was an Amazing day!!  We could finally officially and legally refer to the sweet little girl in the pink tutu as our daughter.  I know it is just a piece of paper - but I tell you that piece of paper gave us a security that we hadn't had for 2 years.  The most difficult part of being a foster parent is knowing that the child belongs with you and any day they could be moved to another home.  You know that you LOVE this child with all your heart & soul and you might not be able to PROTECT her.    I can't even describe the fear I felt constantly that we would lose her.  I would lay awake trying to figure out what the plan would be if they decided to move her.  Run Away to Canada???  Hire the Best Attorney???  Honestly, It was AWFUL!!!   Now for the record - I only felt like this with Owen & Sara.   As I knew the other children placed with us in foster care had a safe home to return to.  Something was very different with Owen & Sara - We all just KNEW that they belonged here with us.  So to finally have a Judge declare us a "Forever Family" on August 30 was such a HUGE BEAUTIFUL BLESSING!!!

 I couldn't be PROUDER to be her MOM

 And now - 1 year later - I know watching my precious girl sleep that she is HOME!!!!!!

AND WE WILL ALWAYS BE A FOREVER FAMILY!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!

Introducing Lucy, Toby, Gracie & Sophie

I can't believe I have been blogging for a year and I haven't introduced four of our family members!

 These are some seriously spoiled Jack Russel Terriers

 These dogs fit right it with the kids

Owen and Gracie are placing an order at Sara's Restaurant

 Gracie was not very patient waiting for her food 

 Toby likes to go for a ride in the wagon as long as he has a lap to sit on

 He will let Belle do what ever she wants to him - he really is such an Awesome Dog

Who doesn't love a Belle hug????

 Lucy is the laziest of the four and she is always Moody. 

She thinks she is the BOSS!!  

And then our sweet little Sophie!  Poor Sophie looks more like a rodent then a dog.  The vet diagnosed her with a collapsing trachea - crazy I know.  She isn't able to bark with this diagnosis but she sure does try and oh my - it is pathetic.  I do LOVE her but she truly is one very strange little creature.

And guess what?  I will be introducing our guinea pigs next week.  

She is just changing so much

Honestly, I just cant believe how much this girl is changing.  I am GRATEFUL everyday that we are the blessed  ones to witness this most AMAZING transition of a little lost soul to a breathtaking beauty full of electrifying spirit!!!!

The subject will push food away if she is done eating

The subject will growl if you try and feed her something she doesn't like 

The subject is Beautiful (not sure if this is relevant but the MOM insists we include this FACT)

This video was brought in to evidence this evening.  We have been unsuccessful in solving this case for 7 months.  We Need Your HELP!!!
