Reece's Rainbow Reunion - Here We Come!!!!

We are leaving in the morning heading for Cooperstown NY for the RR reunion!!!!  I am beyond EXCITED!!!!  We all are!!!  This is such an awesome opportunity for our family!!  We all get to be together for 4 days and we get to meet other families that live a similar life to ours.  They too took a leap of faith and went to far away places to bring home a child!!! 

When we committed to Lyla in June of 2010 the The Lococo Family had committed to Julia.  We became instant friends and our journeys stayed on the same track almost the whole process.  I LOVE this family to pieces and I have never met them - well that will all change this week.  I will finally get to meet one of the most amazing families I know.  I already warned Patty that I might not let her go once I get a hold of her for a hug. 

I am pretty sure my emotions will be completely out of whack this week.  Meeting Andrea from RR - WOW!!!  How do you Thank someone for finding your daughter for you?????   Seeing Andrea meet Belle - um ya, I will need to sit for that one or maybe lay down!!  Meeting so many wonderful people that I have known for a year because we all share a passion for helping orphans with special needs.  And then the kids - Oh My - All the children that have been SAVED and now home with their FOREVER FAMILIES!!!!  I will be a walking water park I am sure!!!!

I can't wait to share all the pictures I plan on taking with all of YOU!!!! 

I sure wish GAVIN was HOME too enjoy this trip!!!!!  Next year, sweet BOY!!!! 

I can NOT wait to hold this beautiful boy and kiss him like CRAZY!!!!!

I PRAY he knows that he has a Mommy & Daddy that love him and that they coming to bring him HOME FOREVER!!!

Reece's Rainbow Video for 4th of July!!!!

Oh My - this video is the BEST!!!!  Bellie made an appearance in the video and the lyrics were changed a little bit for her part.  And it just KILLS me!!!  I'm crying just thinking about it!!!!  What an HONOR it is to be part of such an amazing ministry!!!  I am so GRATEFUL that I found RR!!!!  Not only do I have this incredible daughter but I witness children being saved every day because of the continuous efforts of this ministry!!!!  That is why we have come back to do it all again but this time bringing home a beautiful little boy!!!!   Thank you GOD for Reece's Rainbow!!!!!!!

Our social worker came tonight to do our home study - YAY!!!  She said she will have it ready next week for review!!!!  Oh MY!!!! This is so AWESOME!!!  So FAST !!!!!

Mommy and Daddy are coming GAVIN!!!!!!

It's starting to look like a Bedroom - YAY!!!!

Owen, Gavin and Sara's bedroom is finally starting to look like a fun place to sleep!!!

I am waiting for some fun things I ordered on line to put on the empty walls.  Then I think all we need is some blue window treatments and a couple blue area rugs.  At that point I will officially declare this room ready for some super cute toddlers!!!  Oh ya - we need to put Gavin and Sara's beds in there too!!!  That would probably be a very good idea, don't you think? 

Our home study is today at 2 pm and that just means 1 big step closer to bringing home our BOY!!!!

PRAYER WARRIORS PLEASE HELP!!!!!

This beautiful little princess Victoria is in need of PRAYER!!!!  Her new MOMMY just brought her home to her forever family from EE to be immediately admitted to the hospital!!!  Look at that sweet ANGEL!!!  She is severely malnourished and dehydrated - PLEASE PRAY!!!!!  Victoria was in the same orphanage as our sweet Gavin.  Please see the URGENCY - Please understand that this is REAL!!!  This is why when we left the orphanage with our sweet Bellie - we couldn't forget.  This is why my HEART will never ever be the same as it was prior to entering an orphanage.  It is REAL and it is AWFUL!!!!  This my friends is why we are going back for a beautiful little boy we want to be our son!!!  As it will most likely SAVE HIS LIFE!!!!!

Lovely Day For The Playground!!!

Yes, I LOVE being a STAY AT HOME MOM!!!!  We get to go for walks to the playground when ever we want!!!  I LOVE IT!!!!!

Sara and Belle get to ride to the playground and then Sara will have to walk back so Owen can ride!! 

Owen is telling me how we have to be very careful crossing the street and we MUST hold hands!!!

Sara wants to go as high as possible but I will only go so high - it stresses me out!!!

Bellie tried the slide, she is not a FAN yet!!  But it did help that her big brother went down beside her!!!

The walk to the park is so Beautiful - we are so LUCKY!!!!  We sang "Bringing Home a Baby Bumble Bee" on the walk home.  Bellie hums along while the rest of us sing!!  I AM SO BLESSED!!!!!

Painting Day 2

Well I had hoped the room would be finished today - nope!!  It turns out it isn't that easy to complete a job like that in 2 days - silly Mommy!!!  But we are having FUN with it anyways!!!

I'm thinking Dave would much rather hold his little sunshine than start painting - I mean who wouldn't want to hold that precious princess??????

Now this girl puts everything in to her work - EVEN HER SKIN!!!! 

While the 3 painters took a nap the Supervisor continued to work - No Nap for him today!!

Belle woke up and got right back to work supervising the Supervisor

She is so good at what she does!!!!

After watching this crew work I realized that I am sitting on a gold mine.  I am sure people would pay BIG to have a job done like this, right?  And to think they have volunteered their precious time and we are not paying a penny - Wow - what a steal!!!!!!! 

So if you need a room painted - I guess you know who to call!!  I talked briefly with the crew to figure out what they would charge.  I do think they are willing to negotiate but I threw out some numbers and this was their response:  Owen states he will accept cookies and/or cupcakes.  Sara made it clear if there isn't a Dora Doll involved she is OUT!!!  And Bellie will be on the job as long as her Dad let's her be the Boss!!  And Dave, well he didn't have anything to say - Weird huh?  So there you have it Friends - I will continue to post the progress of this job and I hope you will enjoy each step as am I!!!!

And to think next year we will have another painter in the crew!!!!  Yay!!!  I can NOT wait to see that precious little boy hold a paint brush!!!!
