Gotcha Lyla!!!!

Forever grateful for this most amazing day!!! This beautiful little girl, Ms. Lyla Elizabeth Spitz is FREE!!!!

Lyla had a fever and the orphanage wanted her to stay there. I thought being with her Mom was a better option so our awesome facilitator worked it all out!!! Now that her Motrin has kicked in she is having a ball!!! Yay!!!!

I will never find the words that will even come close to describe how I feel about this girl!! Lyla was a dream of ours for two years!! Now that dream is my daughter!!! Wow!!!! Praising Jesus for this gift!!! Thank all of you that helped in any way that allowed me to be the mother of such a precious treasure!!

I am so Lucky To Love Lyla!!!!

  10. Oh my goodness, Summer! I think I'm crying more now than I did for either of my own boys' Gotcha Days! LOL I just can't even believe it. Is it really real??? :-) The journey the Lord has brought you on the past 2 years, and now brought you full circle. The Lord our God is so faithful!

I couldn't help but notice her "outfit" in the 2nd photo - those pant things that tie over their shoulders. :( Thank God she'll never have to wear one of those again! She is just beautiful, even more so in her OWN clothes!!! (The hat looks great too. LOL) Praying her fever doesn't come back and she is healthy all the way home!
