Gavin Met Conor & Nick

What a beautiful day!!  Gavin was so excited to see us at the entrance of his groupa today that he was jumping up and down, yelling!!  Oh my heart!!!  Of course I was emotional and I couldn't get my shoes off fast enough to get over to him.   Finally after what seemed like FOREVER, I picked him up and just held him - he just held on to me - I sure felt him saying "Oh You Came Back"!!!  Whoa!!!   Oh My Goodness do I love that boy!!!

Conor & Nick couldn't wait to get their hands on him.  Gavin was in Heaven with Conor & Nick!!  He was cracking up and snuggling with both of them in no time.  I have some great pictures but I am still on Alex's computer so I won't be able to post the pictures until tomorrow when we move to our new apartment.  I am pretty confident that Gavin is thinking it is pretty cool to have two big brother's.  Wait until he finds out he has another big brother at home waiting to meet him too.

We visited in the playroom with two other American families this morning - it was AMAZING!!!  To see these 4 beautiful boys and know that they are all going HOME soon!!!  Oh My!!!!  GOD IS GOOD!!!!

We went back to the orphanage at 3:30 to pick up Gav so we could go to the passport office.  The ladies at the office couldn't of been nicer.  One lady picked Gavin right up and just held him.  WOW!!!  I can tell you this was not the experience I had prepared myself for since last year with Belle that passport experience was somewhat uncomfortable.  (Right Jill?)  Anyways, these ladies were GREAT!!!  They took a few pictures and asked me which one I liked best.  I of course LOVED them all!!  I picked one and another super nice lady just smiled and nodded her head in agreement.

We brought Gavin back to the orphanage for his LAST NIGHT!!!  Can you believe it???  His last night in the only home he knows.  Please Pray for him.  I can only imagine how confused he will be.  My poor little buddy.  Although we know that this is the first day of a wonderful life for him, he just might not see it that way.    This is the only life he knows and tomorrow it will all change very drastically!  So we will try and keep everything as low key as possible and allow him to let us know what he needs to be comfortable.

Oh and I would like to apologize to all of you!  I had posted that tomorrow is also the day that we busted Belle out of her orphanage last year - WELL I WAS WRONG.  It was not the 19th, it was the 17th.  I don't know what I was thinking.  Well, obviously the problem was I wasn't thinking!!  Sadly, I have those days of no thinking - dangerous I know!!!

Thank you so much for the continued support!!!  Having AWESOME comments each time I post is the fuel that keeps me going - that is a FACT!!!!  You guys are the BEST!!!!  I am thrilled that I get to share tomorrow with all of you!!!   See you then!!!!  YAY - oh my gosh I am so excited!!!!

  6. Good luck with the transition. I know he's in good hands and you'll make it as painless as possible. I'm sure that having his brothers there will help too.

  7. Oh Summer, not only did I have chills when I read "his last night" but tears of joy for all of you. I cannot wait to meet this little man in person!!!!

Oh Gavin this is just the beginning my dear. You have so much to look forward to in life once you pass those gate doors for the last time tomorrow.

What a relief that the passport office was NOT like it was last year for you. I remember reading that post like it was yesterday and stress and emotions it was so hard.

Conor and Nick, keep it up you are so great to be there for your Mom and Gavin. Have a great time!

    Love you all!
