January17th - Isabelle's Day

On Monday, January 17, 2011 around 2 PM Isabelle Maria Spitz will leave the orphanage and start her journey home to her forever family!!!!  Wow - I just can't stop the tears.  This is now so very real and I am overwhelmed with emotion.  Today, I bought her a train ticket and a plane ticket - this made it so real - she WILL be LEAVING the orphanage.  OH MY - THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!

So we will leave on the train 4pm Monday to head to the Big City to get all the Embassy stuff taken care of on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Then we will fly home on Thursday - arriving in Buffalo NY Thursday Evening!!!  Wow!!!!!  (Sorry Basile Family I so wanted to fly in to Erie but Buffalo was a better $$ deal - so we will have to plan a get together very soon)!! Isabelle will meet the rest of her family on Thursday night - I can't even believe it!!!  WOW!!!!  This is Good Stuff!!!!

Here are some pictures of the Amazing little girl that I am so fortunate to call my daughter!!!

So Happy Just to Have a Hug - I can't even begin to imagine what this little Girl Sent from Heaven will teach me.  She has already taught me so much!  Our Family is truly Blessed!!!!!

  1. So exciting. Have a great weekend there.

I love all the smiles. I can only imagine how exciting it must be for her to feel so special to have visitors every day.

Are you able to explore a little, take pics to tuck away for Isabelle one day?

  2. Congratulations! You have no idea how much this little girl will bring to your life.

I have been following your blog since you found out Lyla was sick and I've been hooked since. I can't wait to see how much this little girl changes once she's at home with a family!

  4. Why? Why, do I cry every time you post pictures? They aren't that different each time. They are all of you and Taylor holding her and giving her so much love....aaaahhhh, maybe that's it. Seeing her showered with love after that picture of her wearing a red, boys outfit sitting propped up in that seat in the orphanage haunted me for so long and I would worry so much that she would never have a family. But you changed that for her and now she will be showered with love FOREVER!! I don't know if I can ever say this enough but THANK YOU!!
