One Year Ago
One Year Ago!!! On this Very Day!!!! Dave, Taylor and Kostya met Lyla for the first time. I had the incredible BLESSING of meeting her 7 months prior while adopting Gavin. But on this day, last year, I was able to tell her something I had been DYING to tell her for over 2 years!!!! Two years of crazy emotion wondering if it was really meant to be!!! Two years of PRAYING that one day I would be able to tell her:

I just looked back at your post with tears!! It is amazing how the love of your family turned this beautiful, frail, pail child with saddness in her eyes into this even more beautiful, smiley, healthy looking with rosie cheeks, CHUNK, with a sparkle in her eyes!! You guys are amazing and I am so happy we have become friends!!
