Prayers for Bellie Please

Bellie had her physical two weeks ago and her white blood cell count was low.  Her Pediatrician asked her to come back in 2 weeks to check it again.  She thought it might be low due to her sinus infection.  But she did mention the concern with a low white blood cell count in children with Down Syndrome in regards to Leukemia.

So we went back today for another blood draw.  Sadly her white blood cell count dropped even more and now her hemoglobin is very low.  UGH!!!!  The blood will also be sent to the hospital for more testing.   Belle's Pediatrician will also be calling an Oncologist on Monday.  So it looks like we will know more on Monday.  The blood work that was sent to the hospital will determine if Belle will need a Bone Biopsy.

Please, Please, Please Pray for Beautiful Belle!!!!!!!  She is the sweetest little Love Bug in the whole world.  She is too busy giving the Best Hugs in the World to be sick!!!!!!

Thank You, Thank you, Thank you

  2. Praying! I'm sure your Mommy heart must be in agony right now. My daughter also had some very low blood counts, and they also thought leukemia. They did perform a bone marrow biopsy, but thankfully it turned out to be her immune system attacking itself, and with meds we sorted. But for those few weeks I was a mess - so scary. Thinking of you, and praying for your dear dear Belle!!

  6. Oh my, I can't imagine what you must be going through right now. I know everyone says, "God doesn't give us more than we can handle" but between the timing of this and your sweet Lyla's surgery, i'd bet your questioning the validity of this saying. I am so, so sorry and pray for quick answers and that it is simply a fluke or something that is easy to treat.

I wish with everything I have I could ease some of your hearts burden right now. While we have never met nor have I posted on here much since receiving a prayer request when Lyla was sick in the Ukraine, it is amazing how God opens our hearts and shows us what it is to be brothers and sisters in Christ. The internet is an amazing tool in that it can bring so many of us together to support and pray for one another.

As I can't be there to physically give you a hug or lend a helping hand, please know I am sending my love your way and will be in constant prayer for you, your husband, and your babies. May God wrap His loving arms around you and give you peace.
