Beautiful Girl

Our sweet princess seemed to feel better today but a little out of it I think from all the new medications she started yesterday.  We had her outside for the whole visit which was so awesome.  It is so hot here but it just doesn't matter when you are holding such a precious gift.  I can not explain in words what this girl means to me.  There are no words I am sure.   I hold her and just can't believe the miracle she is.  I can't and I probably will never understand how all this happened.  Like the money for instance, how in the world did so many generous people step forward allowing us to adopt her??  How did so many people all over the world pray for her for two years that she would survive and have a forever family and we be that family????  How was I the chosen one for her????  I have no answers just this constant gratitude of being beyond blessed!!!  Beyond  grateful to all of you for believing in us and supporting us!!

God is always good!!

  2. Hope she starts feeling better. Taylor and her hubby look like babies! I smile as I say that because I got married at 18 :) The pic of Daddy holding Lyla is so very precious. I have a thing for Daddies and daughters. Praying for y'all.
