I didn't think we could

I truly didn't believe we would be able to adopt internationally when I first contacted Andrea from Reece's Rainbow.  As a matter of fact the ADOPTION PROCESS page on the Reece's Rainbow site clearly states this:

"It takes more than a heart of gold and the desire to give a child a family to adopt internationally"

I had the heart and the desire BUT I didn't think we could pull it off financially, nor did I think we could leave our children to go to Ukraine for 2 trips.  I was sure it was impossible.  So I left it alone.  Until that day I saw this beautiful breathtaking beauty:

(Read this POST for more info about Lily)

Well, then something just went crazy inside me.  I was obsessed with finding a way to bring her home forever.   I knew with every bit of my heart and soul that we could do it - we could do it for her!!!   Something that was absolutely impossible quickly changed to WE WILL FIGURE IT OUT!!!!

Oh my - the journey is not easy that is for sure.  It is a bumpy sometimes NASTY ride but it is so very POSSIBLE!!!!  So maybe just 1 person reading this blog has that heart of gold and has the desire to adopt a child internationally but just doesn't think it is possible.

Well, neither did I

 and now I have

These Two Scrumptious Scoops of LOVE!!!!

I would do it a million times over for the same
Amazing Results!!!!!!

So if you WANT desperately to adopt but just don't think it is possible please e/m me.  I would love to chat with you and see if together we can figure out a way to bring your child Home!!!

  1. Summer,

I've read your blog for a few months now and think you are amazing. Your positive attitude is so refreshing. I also loved how you didn't insist on being fully funded to travel and talked about taking out a loan if necessary.
You are such a special person. Keep blogging about those little angels and their friends you saw who still need families.
