Gavin's First Time at The Pool

We had a wonderful day at the pool!! Gav LOVED it sooooooo MUCH!!!

I have to admit something. It is very amusing to see the expression on the faces of people that see us all together. You can see that they are trying to figure out how in the world we ended up with four children around the same age. I am pretty certain they are also trying to figure the odds of one family having two children with Down syndrome. We do end up with many people starring at us but it doesn't bother us at all. Our children are typically very well behaved and very happy. I HOPE and PRAY that we are viewed as a family devoted to LOVING & SUPPORTING each other and that our family works so well because we are truly very BLESSED!!!!

I sure KNOW how VERY BLESSED WE ARE!!!!!

Big Brother Conor ROCKS!!!!

I can't BRAG enough about the big kids - I really can't!! All three of them are so AWESOME with the little ones!! They always make time for them no matter what is going on!! I couldn't be PROUDER!!! I couldn't be more BLESSED!!!!

Conor was headed out to soccer practice and Owen asked him to play "swords" with him. Conor can't say "no" to his little brother so he stopped and PLAYED!!!! Gavin realized what was going on quickly and also joined in on some big brother FUN!!!

Bellie has decided she is not going to watch from that chair anymore!!!

She is going to be a part of the FUN!!!!

She has also decided to be in the bounce house at the SAME TIME AS HER CRAZY SIBLINGS!!!!

This is so HUGE!!! She is overcoming so many things that USE to terrify her!!!!

Princess Belle BEFORE

Belle had a link to the Reece's Rainbow website at one time. Belle was an orphan waiting for a forever family for 3 years. Belle was confined to a crib. Belle was malnourished, Belle was dehydrated. Belle's muscles were wasting away so much so that her therapist said "her muscles were pre-newborn". Out of 20 teeth in her mouth, 16 had cavities. She could not see out of her left eye due to a cataract. She had a hard bruised lump on her forehead from constant head banging. She had terrible reflux.

Belle was ALONE and UNLOVED!!

Belle ESCAPED THOSE AWFUL CONDITIONS!!!

On September 30, 2010 my husband looked over the little girls with down syndrome on the Reece's Rainbow website looking for his daughter. He knew immediately when he saw Isabelle that she was the one. She was HIS DAUGHTER!!!

When will Carina & Mabel's father find them? When will that special family looking for a daughter realize she is right there? WHEN IS IT THERE TURN??????
